I've recently started a new Steaua game and the highlights are really slow. I've set both match speed and highlights to the fastest option (right side) and it's still not changing. never played FM without highlights, pretty boring. :(

Yeah, I wish I could come up with a better solution, but I've never heard anything like this. Reinstalling is the only way, I think. Tell us if it works.

Instead of reinstalling, cant you try a repair? That's fixed some problems i've had in the past.

You don't have enough RAM for the number of leagues you're running. I've had this problem in the past, and it's always because my computer specs weren't up to the challenge I gave it. Cut it down to as few leagues and divisions as you will be willing to have.

oh and Shifty, I only run like 15 leagues from 5 countries, that's always been the default for me.

I don't need all those leagues. Just the top leagues + the league I want to play in. Which mostly comes down to 4 or 5 leagues.

14 actually, 2 leagues from England, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal and Romania. 12 when I don't play in Romania. :p

I started a game with 25 leagues on my new PC. Runs like a dream for the first in-game months. Haven't gone beyond that as I just don't enjoy FM the way I used to anymore, because I don't have the time to get everything set up right.

Yes, I'm promoting the purchase of quad core CPUs, never a bad day with mine.

Quads are a waste, atm (waste for the avg user that is), because there is no software to take advantage of more than 2 core processing. Btw, I think there is one game that uses more than 2 cores in the market atm, Lost Planet Extreme Condition. (Y) Just thought you might wanna check it out Ruud (H)
