slow down in penalty box only

ok! firstly, IF this has already been discussed, plz jus type in the thread link

anyways, game runs smooth n fine n all that

but every now n then... any screen size, n full screen or not... everyth slows down in n around the penalty box

not all the time, once every 5 times on avg

p4 2400, 512 ddr, ati 9800 se, cmedia onboard sound

didnt think that i would hav any probs with a 128 graphics card!

any suggestions plz!

but like i said, 800* 600, low... still happens every now n then

No way that should happen on low detail with your system. Can't help with a solution though.

Are you using the Konami Patch? With the patch i always get slow down in the box, but not with the default exe. Maybe your problem is the sound card, try to disable the sound card in Windows and see how the game runs.

I believe it is the sound card, you may try to reduce the hardware acceleration for the sound car or even disable it.

Try to reduce the number of crowds,,it worked for me since the slowdown near penalty box is due to those loud cheers from the crowds(you know~ they get all excited when the ball get near the goal.) ^_^

Try disabling sound acceleration(in dxdiag.exe), try your lastest sound drivers and most important, try the 53.xx nvidia drivers.

Hi Guys i have P4 2.6 512 Ram, Radeon 9600 XT and it runs liek a dream here is my tip Download and install official patch, but make a back up of the original EXE when the patch is installed copy the original EXE into the PES3 folder and away you go.

Make sure the game is running on 60 hertz, and set AA to 2X and AF to 2X quality setting and i never have anything other than a silky smooth game that is a hell of a lot smoother than the PS2 version!

Turn off the sound, set your refresh rate to 60hz, turn off your keyboard, cut the wire of your mouse, set your hd to stand by, turn your monitor off and yes !!! No more visible slowdowns

I think I prefer a real patch from Konami

If you try 3d-analyze there is a stuttering fix tool on it. Its worth a try anyway.
