Great win against Nacional, to bad we failed so many chances of goal we could easily scored 8 goals.

Anyway 4-1 its good enough, 2 goals from Rodrigo, 1 of Garay and another of Cardozo

Now CL time, Javi Garcia its out so i guess it will be Matic on Javi place against Zenit

Can't comment on the game as I couldn't watch it. Shame cause everybody tells me it was one of our best displays at Luz this season..

Regarding the CL match Garcia will be missed for sure, hopefully Matic will be ready and motivated to replace him.

It seems the temperature in St. Petersburg will be around -20º C. This is no excuse of course but I think this is bad for football itself, the aggravated risk of injuries for the players, cold as **** for the spectators and most likely a poor display of the teams - we won't be able to make use of our players superior technical ability.

Needless to say it's gonna be a tough match.

I love it that you try to bring something that actually goes on Benfica favour, but what you fail to recognize is that these aren't mistakes, they are decisions made on purpose and with a goal.


I could easily paste here the play where Maicon is offside like you said, but sadly there's no need. Once again Benfica was robbed, regardless of not making a good exhibition. I don't deny we didn't play like we should have, the players looked tired, Luisão and Garay still not ok physically, JJ making bad choices.. This is all true. But what is also true is that we are constantly robbed and it changes the outcome of the matches...

Benfica was after Falcao at the time he went to Porto, but they think it was expensive, they prefer to spend some 10 M € on 5 brazilians who are loaned 6 months after.
