Even though the official release date is tomorrow i've just been told it's out at my local Virgin Megastore, so i'll be out to get this afternoon.

I hated the first sims. But I had credit at a games store so I thouhgt why not, give it a go, and my girlfriend is thankful.

It's actually pretty damn good. I managed to steal someone's wife and get a maid pregnant in the same-sim day with the same sim!

Now I want to make a household full of misfits and let them fend for themselves and see what happens.

I have a AMD Athlon 1.3ghz, 512mb of ram and a geforce 4 ti4200 and it runs quite well, a bit choppy at times but nothing worth worrying about.

Some shots from my current game. Two of my Sims got old reached the end of the lifespan and died, they come back to haunt the house once in a while.

Nice screenshots shokz, man this game looks great. The part I really like of the Sims is building the houses mainly because architecture interests me. It might be bad to buy it if its addictive, I might end up paying more attention to the game than to my school work. :p

what are some of the differences between the first Sims and this one?? Can you go downtown and stuff without having to buy expansions?

yes i think u can. Plus there are differences major one on gameplay new objects more intreaction 3d graphics ppl grow up and many more.

yes you can actually ... you can to the food shopping center, a clothes one, a park or go round to other people's houses.
