Simple Solution For Create More Leagues That Could Work

Hi all!

Hope someone could help me to do what i wan't.

I'm trying to do a portuguese league more complete with Liga 2 Cabovisão (League 2 Cabovisão (level 2)) and Campeonato Nacional de Seniores (National Senior Championship (level 3)).

For now i've maded Liga Zon Sagres (already in game at level 1) and Liga 2 Cabovisão with promotions and relegations working fine with no issues.

I've maded League Cup too, complete and all work fine too.
Portuguese Supercup also.

But now comes the problem:

Campeonato Nacional de Seniores (National Senior Championship (level 3)) as a specific structure.

1. For a start the league is divided in 8 groups of 10 teams each playing 2 times each.

2. Second moment 2 first places of each group goes to two separate groups for promotion decision. each group with 8 teams playing 2 times. this groups start with 0 points.

3. Also second moment the other remaining teams start a 8 group champ with 8 teams each to relegation decision playing 2 times. this groups start with 50% of 1st stage points.

4. next moment, the teams in 2nd place of second moment with 2 groups, play a ko2legs for 3rd place and promotion.

5. then the other 2 first places of each group of second moment with 2 groups, play a final for decide the winner of league, and also both are promoted.

Even with that complexety of league i can tell you that i have made that kind of league to work fine with promotions and relegations and everything, but i wan't to go further.

It's true that all work fine, but without point 3. Here is where my problems start. if i add a single serie of that point the game crashes always on 26 October, and if i add more series on that point the game crashes on start.

Someone please help me with suggestions or solutions.
I really want to do a complete portuguese champ.

Another thing that could solve all problems is if it's possible to say what team in a giving position could be relegated or promoted and for a specific league, cause i want to do a level 4 league with regional teams too.

While waiting for some help, i've finally done and all work fine, only the problem is for solve level 3 champ i have to delete a fully functional league cup.

Even with that solution, now i have many questions than answers...

I have read a lot of threads before, but some have so many replies that it's hard to find some answers for what i want to achieve.

There's someone who can tell me in resume what are the major limitations of this FIFA 14?

And what limitations can be changed.

I have used CM14.2 of great man Rinaldo and his patch for add new leagues.
New ID's for all new leagues and cmsettings with SEASONOBJECTIVES = 0 and MANAGERMODESEASONOBJECTIVEMANAGER = 0

I think that could some limitations with txt files in compdata folder, but don't know what they really are.

i am new to FIFA-modding,but a more advanced guy told me that the lines in the objects-file cannot have more than 5000 lines,otherwise it will causing problems......
i hope this helps.

i am interested in adding new leagues to FIFA too with CM,but i never heard of Rinaldos Patch for adding new leagues.can you give me the link for the patch , the CM i already have,but not the add leagues-patch.

and tell me when your portuguese leagues will be done and ready for download,i am very

I think i have found the problem, and also a way to go around for add more leagues.

This is a tricky idea and i don't really know if someone have thinked about that, but there he goes.

So, we have 2 major problems:

1. 1780 limit id for compobj (this was my problem!)
2. 5000 lines for Schedule (not tested by me but it's what all people say here)

I saw that essentially FA cup heats something like 200 compobj_id (but there's more) with replays and Draws. For those that don't care about that, i think that removing replays and Draws we can win something like 400-500 compobj id, and we can make much more leagues (something like 100-140 leagues).
I think the secret is study all the structure and try to squeeze it the most we can.

About Schedule the same roule could eat some lines too.

The major idea is SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE!

obviously it could be much more interesting if someone expert in programming find a way to break those limitations.

the idea has been talked about and used in a few patches already, i don't know what you know but it is obviously not what i know.

i launch my censures because members are too lazy to research, always creating threads than looking for themselves.

you see members who are doing the things related to adding leagues, ever thought to send one a private message ?

i didn't think so.

you do know that this structure was used in 2 other fifa games and that we have other forums to search through and read on this website ?

i get what you are saying but i am not a forum almanac that knows where everything is located at all times.

we have had the same structure for 3 games now and the 14 forum is not the only forum that contains information on the topic.

if you want an answer that bad you should be willing to look for it.

I created this thread not to ask anything, but simply because with my researchs i haven't found anything about it and tried to be helpfull launching this idea and trying to have simply some feedback.

sorry if this is an idea already posted, but when an idea could be valid it's always good to be posted, i think!

I believe that the limitation is only found on the compobj file.
I'm not sure the schedules file has a line limit.
The thing is the good folks at EA finally brought us more CONMEBOL teams but they haven't changed the line limit on their files all that much (if at all) it appears, So it just got harder to squeeze in new tournaments.
You could try to simplify some of the tournaments in game that due to their structure require more lines and through those readjustments get more room for your competitions

for now, i have made a league with 8 groups and adjusted to have a real Schedule.

All works, but because i can't specify wich teams stay on a specific group, they play the games like in real Schedule but teams don't belong to the same group, like in Major League.

there's someone who knows how to fix specific teams to a specific group like in Major League?

please help me or give me some hint.

Hi!

I'd like to make a league like MLS.

I have made the groups and basic structure with real schedules included, but the problem is unlike MLS i can't find a way to specify wich teams must stay in a specific group.

anyone can help me about this question?
there's a file to solve this question or is a hardcode situation?
