This is not aimed at anyone, mods/users/etc. but seriously,
What is wrong with oversize sigs? Unless they are the size of an A4 paper what really makes you care. And i dont really think mod bashing is apparent... and neither is post boosting... I mean WHOA oh god man you have 1000 posts you must be cool! Who really thinks this way? And why would anyone "mod bash"? There nothing you can gain from mod bashing. It is like post boosting. It doesnt exist.
And hermolt, I'd definitely go for the sneaky bastard going 5km over the limit. Hes obviously trying to make you think he is doing the speed limit, and Im lazy so I wouldnt bother chasing a guy going 80km over the limit.

As for kader lowering ur post count etc, does it really matter, its just a post count! Get over it. kader did it for a bit of fun obviously, but u didnt see any joke in it, so id say u should just lighten up a tad. That crosses out the 2nd paragraph...

As ive already said, only ONE of those aforementioned names was a mod. The other 2, are just two guys who happen to have larger than technically allowed sigs. So there goes ur first paragraph..

Finally, that fourth paragraph, well basically ur right. U look after urself, and we'll make sure we're ok. Can a policemen speed?

With sigs u have to draw the line somewhere. I also think that if u have sigs of all weird dimensions it looks ugly, and of cuorse larger sigs means more bandwidth, which means more $ have to be forked out by SG (Matt ). Its not much pre image, but if a sig, that image is displayed over and over everytime u post, and everytime a different user sees each of ur posts....

As for post boosting, at any forum, a higher post number is often looked up at by new people to the board. The people with higher count are often considered the ones that have the experience at the boards, and know what they are talking about. They are more respected by the newer people at the boards, who dont know otherwise
Also its not just a matter of post boosing, but pointless posts are really annoying (why bother posting jsut to say "yes" for instance!), a waste of space and can really get a thread off topic at times....

Finally, it was me, not hermolt who posted the copper analogy, and trust me, if ur going 80, ur gone

Dude, I have already apologised for my comment. I see it was out of order and I am sorry for it. I am just really pissed off about my posts being mucked around with - as soon as they are restored to 1150 I will delete my sig and stop all my comments about posts.
