I'm sorry to say that I have decided to withdraw from the PES/WE community because I'm sick of the anti-Americanism that seems to haunt the worldwide communtiy as a whole. Some of the stuff I've had to read on PES/WE forums over this last few days has just been sickening and although I'm used to comments such as "Americans know nothing about soccer" or "Americans are thick and don't understand soccer", I'm not prepared to read about how certain members of the community hate Americans so much they wish another 9-11 or worse on us because of our choice for President.

Receiving PM's from individuals on some of the community websites telling me to "f...ing die you American pice of $hit" are out of line. Nobody would tolerate it if it was about any other nation on earth but it's ok to be anti-American and insult us on a daily basis.

Well, although on here things have generally been ok except for the odd smattering of people who seem intent on dissing every word anybody who calls the game "soccer" has to say, I can't find myself in the future spending countless hours making patches for a community which on the whole hates the country I live in so much. I guess unless you live here and get to read the stuff people post and PM to you, it's difficult to understand.

its an absolute disgrace that kind of behaviour.You´re work here has been amazing,and it has nothing whatsoever to do with the elections that took place.Too bad this place is crowded with stupid kids and irresponsible people.

I was hoping to play PES4 with one of ure patches Wolf,just as I did with PES3,too bad that apparently isnt going to happen.

that sucks man, i usually dislike americans when it comes to soccer cuz they always want to change the rulz, like the MLS when it had different rulz.... also when it comes to fifa games they enjoy em cuz they dont know **** about it :crazyboy:

but i dont think its sane to send msgs to people just to bother, and dont take it personal man, many people are crazy on this world, but you dont let that affect ya

RVN the fact of the matter is that most Americans don't want to change any of the rules. That is just the stupid ignorant NFL people who run the MLS. And you know what most people who play WE prefer it over fifa. The fact of the matter is WE isn't marketed at all of here that is why fifa is the number one game over here. People always want to say Americans are ignorant and dumb when it comes to soccer, well the average american maybe but people on this board come here cause they respect and enjoy the game, for people to insult them is disgraceful. Its really disappointing that people prejudge all Americans because what they think are their political beliefs and not by who they are. Some people are ignorant and It definetly isn't any American on these boards.

Its probably not so much that they hate america as a whole but they, understandably from my point of view, hate bush and his supporters. The reasons for this are quite valid imo (if you want i will give my reasons why i think that but i dont really want to get into an argument about this) but thats not an excuse to abuse random americans on the internet.

dude wtf don't withdraw cuz of that who cares if you are american. more importantly YOU shouldn't care that you are american. on the internet we are all just nicknames.

naturally it is a widely spread understanding that americans know nothing of soccer... of course, in the last decade a lot of americans have shown considerable interest in the sport and now lots of americans are into the game...

the american team proved to be quite good in 2002, and a few american players play around europe for elite clubs (howard and that guy that scored for PSV yesterday for example).

So yeah, america is pretty much into it...

You know it. I know it. Who cares if a bunch of opinionated guys think the opposite?

How did this end up being all political, who cares where you are from. if you leave caus of few kids bashing you, and few thousands people will miss your work.

Yeah, being a soccer/football community, we really shouldn't let other's nationality blind our opinions. Wolf has contributed so much and if u really have to leave, I just want to say I truly appreciate your efforts in making those great patches for PES3 and WE7i which so many of us have enjoyed.

Because of the famouse Wolf patches I enjoyed a game of pes/we even more! It's a shame that your heritage is the cause of those insults... Strange people this earth has :crazyboy:

I sincerely hope to see another patch in the future for PES 4 from the hands of the Wolf!!!
