well if a guy wants to risk being eaten alive by a wild beast that's his own problem... he can what ever he wants.
But even if this animal is tamed somewhat they still keep wild instincts and may have instincitive reactions.

Maybe he watched too much Grizzly Adams on the television! Everything looks easy on the TV. lol
If someone has brought up the animal from birth/soon after, yeah maybe. They shouldd be in their natural habitat/climate though.
Maybe training would help, if they were shown the animals' behavioural traits etc.
Anyway, why would anyone want a wild animal?! They're so unpredictable!! You could lose balls!!!!!!!

On the person's side of things, I think that they should be allowed to keep what ever animals they like, after all it is their problem if they get eaten or what have you.. but it's pretty unfair on the animals, especially tigers, bears etc as they can't survive well in a small environment like a house.. they need space in the wild...

Some guy in New York City kept a live tiger in a closet in his apartment. He still kept it there after it ate his cat and mauled him. Today he was intereviewed and admitted to keeping a live lion at a house a few years ago.
