Shooting in World Cup 2006

I have some difficulty shooting accurately or with spin in world cup 2006. sometimes holding r2 helps, anyone else know the best way?

try just tapping the shoot button. I Have it for 360 and it is kinda inaccurate, but it is low and powerful.
