I remember like 4-5 years ago i saw a little commercial with some damn nice goals, which included Maradona and co. In the end they showed a goal where Shevchenko scores even further than from half- field! It was like on his teams side of the field and he just shot it and it went in and it was goalkeeper mistake. It said it been scored in 2002, but all my recent attempts to find it had failed.

The thing i wonder about if the guy managed to create that kind of shot, why the hell can't i find it anywhere? So i am curious does this goal has ever been scored? If not by Shevchenko, then who?

Edit : Yes i know that this goal been scored but i am not fully sure by who and when. It said it was Shevchenko's in 2002, but seems like they were mistaken.

^^ that wasn't in 2002, that was Beckham's first goal in the english premier division actually, if i'm not mistaken (H)

No it's not by Becks. Beckhams goal was going left to right, and the one i am talking about is from right to left. And as i said before, it was even further then half line.

I remember clearly that it said that Shevchenko scored it, even my brother does. Probably it was made when he was still in Dynamo K, but who knows?

I guess i have to see some collection of distance goal to find out for sure, but does anybody knows where can i find one?

you are talking about his goal vs Juventus, you just dont know it.

he took the ball from the halfway line, beat like three players, ended up around right of the field and shot to the left hand corner of Buffon's net.

many said it was a fluke cross but Sheva said it was a shot.

try searching Sheva-Juve goal 2002.

Ok then it was different player, different time. Blame it on commercial.
But since i am so interested in distance goals, can anybody recommend me any collection of good goals from long range? I would like to check them out.

That has to be it. He's the official Shevchenko expert in the world! And look at the team he supports, Milan, what kind of sicko would support a player that players for a rival team in England, Chelsea? A Shevchenko expert would. I'm telling you, this guy is the real deal.
