It's funny how you are telling me these things but your team has a Rooney Pogba double pivot + Silva CAM. Yeah, that would definitely work in real life. Pogba doesn't even play that position at Juve.

Evra has played 1 game as CB. Rooney played his last 8 games as a CM and last year played like 3 months as a CM. It is not a comparison at all.

This game is not about how the team would play in real life. It will be based on whoscored ratings. But still you can't pick players in the wrong position because they played 1 game there their whole life.

Using your sense I could use O'Shea as GK. He also played a game as a GK. Sorry for tipping.

By my interpretation of the rules what you are doing is perfectly fine. The 'who scored' position rule was put in place to override exactly this kind of dispute so if it lists Evra as being able to play CB, you can play him as CB.

Last draft we had the same problem and it was solved by using what's mentioned on Whoscored so that there isn't much debate. Of course Evra can't play CB but according to the rules he's good for that position.
