First match of the season... not a bad start, but we did concede in their first attack...

Very nice. I just played my first friendly and we won 2-1 with Shifty assisting on the first goal

I must say, the squad is absolutely tailor made for a 4-3-3 with all these speedy wingers, CMs and complete lack of decent forwards. Az is in danger of losing his job as our lone striker/poacher/target man run on to the ball job to the 15 year old mrromaniac who I really like.

EDIT: Bad news defenders, Cathcart is in on loan.

You're good. Not really that far into the season, but at this point I'm trying to decide if you should start in as the CM next to me or if it should be Ruud. Either way you're going to play quite a bit.

I've had a look and played a few matches but I forgot to save, so I'll have to restart. There's a real lack in a few positions, and set-pieces. I had planned on sticking to the original squad, but I'll have to buy a few players.

What formation are you guys using? I originally went for a 4-1-3-2, with 3 box-to-box mids (why'd all the good players become either MR's or box to box? There's no creativity in the squad, barring Bobby. It didn't really work, all the goals were either because of mistakes or individual brilliance, mostly my pace, Alex when he comes on, or one of Ruud, Shifty or Fili appearing out of nowhere.

Mus is my best kick-taker!

You're my backup. I might have played you at right wing, but we're too deep there. Alex and Zlatan have that position locked down pretty good.

Corners are dreadful; I'm trying to pad my own stats with the corner cheat (also I have the best long shots), but no one can actually deliver the ball to the edge of the area effectively enough for it to work. I don't think any of my highlights have included a single dangerous freekick from our team.

Bobby is my 6'10'' Pirlo and as I said before a lot of the strategy is just to kick it long and let Az run onto the ball. Playing a 4-3-3/4-1-2-2-1 with wingers.

what? Xifio has high creativity and high flair in my game, and I've got him cutting in from the left, and picking out a teammate ... Max (Zlatan) has been a veritable superstar in pre-season so far for me at AMC ... the real surprise for me was Nigerianmiracle, whose link-up play unlocks defences consistently -- and he only got a chance coz Alex got injured ...

Just got some friendly matches under my belt. According to TROD, nigerianmiracle is the best AM in the squad, Daz the best DC (and he should be taking penalties) and Az the best striker. I also noticed I have the lowest wage in the team. I haven't quite figured out what I should do with the team, and probably I don't know enough about the game itself to be that succesful, either. I'm currently playing 4-4-2 Diamond, but considering changing it up. Regarding the players, I reckon a 3-2-1-2-1 could work.
