Hi,

I just picked up a copy of FIFA 2002 World Cup for cheap. I'm having a problem using my Interact Axis Pad controller. It's much like a Playstation controller in that the analog sticks can also be pressed down to function like a button. This is causing a problem as World Cup defaults the left analog stick button to function as the START button. As a result when I'm moving my players around the game is always pausing! I've searched for drivers, configurators for the controller, and files within the World Cup directory but can't find a way to disable this.

Has anyone experienced this or can tell me what file to edit in World Cup 2002 and how to edit it?

Thanks!!!!

;)

Thanks for the response. You can edit the controller buttons in World Cup 2002 but only to an extent. Apparently the Start and Select buttons are hard coded.

Well to fix my problem I just opened up my controller and clipped the lead wire to the button. I never used the analog stick button feature anyway.

Now I can play freely without bringing up the start menu by accident!
