Putting swerve on a ball is easy. The hard part it getting the accuracy which you can master with lots of practice.

Also try to lean back a little and study slow-mo replays of Beckham, R. Carlos etc free-kicks. You can learn a lot by just watching how the pro's do it:)

I can curve easily with the right(natural) foot but cannot blast like Roberto Carlos with my right...I can come remotely close to blasting with the left but cannot curve with the left...any suggestions?

Practice, practice and practice. For more power you'll have to develop some good thigh muscles (ever see R. Carlos thighs?!). Important is also to really follow through with the foot, it adds more power to the shot.

I practiced so much that now I can curve the ball perfectly with either right or left (inside or outside of the foot) and blast the ball so it can be done:)

That page is helpful but really everyone develops their particular style like for ex. Beckham curls the ball differently from Assuncao or Rivaldo, over time you can manage to curve it if you try to make it curve with the outside of the foot it curls more although it goes without much power ;) :p
