Sepakbola, I've tried your option file tweaks and I've got to say I'm impressed. I was a bit dubious about playing on 3 stars (being a regular 5 star player), but in 3 games (25 minute length) I've drawn one 1-1, and lost the others 1-0 and 2-1.

my version is the PESFan one, Hawk's version is the Superpatch 2.0 one. There has been no editing to 1.0 Superpatch. I would recommend using Hawk's version as it is the most up to date.

Gr8 effort from u sepakbola i usd to play with ur option file on pes4 also.
I dont know if its just me or everybody but after playing 10 + games the game starts feeling the same bcos i get this feeling that the comp has automatically shifted to 4 or 5 stars and i dont win the same amount of games ,games that i should have won but due to a 90th min cpu goal or a fantastically accurate piece of freekick or a through ball.the thru ball really pisses me off becos of the way the cpu striker perfect run to avoid offside and find the ball and then score 1 on 1.and when i try the same all my gangling stupid forwards seem to make a perfect run to get offside instead of avoidng it,i dont mean to spark off any debate but thats the way i feel.once again maybe its just me ...

LOL! You are the one who has done all the work my friend! :) All I did was enter the values for the new option file.

I'm really have fun with this option file. It's been a lifesaver this year. I play some games where the goals come in bunches for both teams and some games that are low scoring yet have plenty of chances-very realsitic. I can't imagine having to go back and play with the default game settings.

Also what settings are you currently using? I'm still trying to find the perfect one - 3 stars is fun, but when you use a somewhat good team ( not incredible ) you can still win pretty good and it seems the CPU isn't attacking as much. I"ve considered a swich to 5-6 stars, still toying with it though.

Haven't had any time to play of course with school and all.

I've been playing at 3 star level. I'm just an average player. I'm not one of those players who thinks 5 or 6 star level is too easy anyway. I had a couple of master leagues going at the same time and it's kind of strange. At times some of the games seem too easy as you say and then I will play a couple of games in a row where I get my butt kicked.

Of course with the new option file I had to restart my ML. I started again at 3 star but if it seems like it's too easy after about 5-6 games then I will restart at 4 star. I'm kinda worried about doing this since the game has slowed down to a realistic pace at 3 star that it might give the cpu too much of an advantage at 4 star.

I'll post my results as I keep playing.

I've been using your edited option file for a while now Sepakbola, and love the pace of the game . When I downloaded the new superpatch 3 option file (fantastic work, btw, to FCH and all others concerned :rockman: ), I played a game without the re-rates applied, and mate, it was like all the players were on speed! I know Thierry Henry is quick but I swear he could've given Justin Gatlin a 30 metre head start and still beaten him in a 100 metre race ;) .
Just goes to show how I've gotten used to the slower pace using your option file.

Re the difficulty rating...I tend to find the opposition harder to beat on 3 star rather than 4 star using your rates. Not always though; as Teddy says some games I can dictate from start to finish, others I'm on the rack throughout.

I prefer to do my gaming on the pc if possible. But since the pc version of WE9 won't be released in North America until April, I was curious to see what the Xbox version was like, specifically if it is plagued with the "linear attack" madness that Sepakbola describes.

It didn't take me too long to see that WE9 has pretty much the same gameplay as PES5. :nape: I was hoping that Konami would go back towards the gameplay of the PES5 demo but that was wishful thinking. Unless they somehow change the pc version before it's released, I would assume those of us who are enjoying Sepakbola's option file will need to do some editing for WE9. I know I will for sure. I just can't go back to the default gameplay.

In fact I already edited an option file for Xbox version of WE9 using the newly released PES Fan Editor 5.05. Earlier versions of the editor will not work with the Xbox option files. I just took an option file update posted by lilaye at PES Insight and edited it using Sepakbola's values.

Now the Xbox version plays like just like it does for me on my pc, though the graphics look horrid (LOL).

Hey man.. the patch sounds very interesting but i have a question... i never tried to change the option file or anything.... im kinda Newb. if i install this patch will i have to start a new ML game or will the settings apply to my current saved games?

It's not a patch. It's an option file. And yes, you will have to restart a ML if you install this.
