there's no button for player run like fifa, they run automatically if you set them up to run (Formations->Individual->Attack-> run arrows) or Formation ->Quick Settings -> choose one and press R2 to see how they will run when you're in possesion

you can also force player to run by 1-2 pass (pass, then R2, pass it back)

You can pass with X + L1 and the player that passed the ball will run, so you can return the pass to him. I use that alot.

you can also press R2 repetadly to make a player to run. eg the goalkeeper passes NEsta, you press R2 repetadly and he starts running.

The R2 runs is longer than the L1

The L1 runs usually stops after a couple of meters
