I didn't see the game.... but whoa.... greece won ...wth?? I knew about it when there were some cars carrying greece flags and honking their horns...... I did put $10 on greece but didn't really think they would do it.. hahaha and I have some nice odds too.. wohoo!!

I was celebrating Canada Day today...went out the whole day...it was awesome..proud to be Canadian!! (and Dutch!! I am dual citizenship).. plus there were lot's of babes showing a lot of skin.. there were also some not so eye friendly...


hahahaha.... I wasn't there when this happened but I quote this from one of my friends msn nick "us booing the raising of the american flag at the US Embassy until they had to take it down = awesome" <-- LMAO... I wish I was there..... I know it's bad but... u don't know the rivalry between Canada and USA .... they always made fun of us and we made fun of them .... so it's fair game



edit: forgot...congrats greece!! now u need to win one more!!

and i don't know what people have... for a football fan this is a great final... both newbies to a final... two vastly different football philosophies.. a bunch of superstars with their last shot at an NT title... one extreme underdog with players one hasn"t heard off much outside of Greece... two coaches who are both not natives... a host who also wants to redeem himself for the first round loss... how will portugal crack this defence?... these are all ingredients for an exciting match.

Zidane was born in Marseille, France. His parents are immigrants from Algeria, not Morocco. Henry was born in Paris, France. Wiltord in Neuilly, France etc..

We are living in the year 2004, man. The color of your skin shouldn't have to do anything with your nationality.

BTW on of the "white" players (Pires) has a Portuguese father. So?

The match of yesterday was pretty similar to the match between Portugal and Holland;we have seen a team with fresh players having lots of energy and another a bit tired and not on top physically;this is because Greece and Portugal had both 2 days of rest more than their opponents and this showed up on the pitch.

Holland was playing well in first 5-10 minutes but then their game slowed down drastically like the Czechs yesterday because of the pace of their opposing teams. In extra-time;the Czechs were completly exhausted.

2 days of recuperation make lots of difference.

I was only talking about the Final against Barcelona,where Steaua played a very tight,defensive game only to keep clean sheet-which they did,mostly thanks to Ducadam.
