Yep, Nistelrooy had like 67 goals for me and 36 of those in the league in my first season, then in my second he has like 10 in 24 matches or something. I mean he plays as a long striker and sometimes I have about 12 shots on target and only score 1.
It ain't just that, I have noticed the second season is full of bullsh*t, I mean I have had nothing but injuries, the cups are a farce.
I played someone and was winning 1-0, and Blake scored in the 88th minute, then I play them again for the replay, 1-0 and what happens next? yep, the same guy scored 3 minutes into injury time to take the match into penalties which I won.
I can go on, I played some Japanese team in the semi-final of some cup I have never heard of, I played my best team and I drew 1-1? I had to win on Penalties, then I play Sao Paulo in the final and rape them 6-0? ok.
I am joint top with 4 games in hand, what happens? I draw 3 out of those 4, it is ridiculous, I go awap and rape Steua 6-0 in the knock-out stage of the CL, what happens next? well I lose Afellay and then Gaven, I play with 10 men and concede 2 goals in the last 10 minutes, turns out Afellay is out for a month and Gaven for 4 months, what a load of rubbish.
Word of advice, use a crap team for the cup, because you get nothing but injuries, infact all my serious injuries have happened in the cups, Ruud was out for 2 months, Smith for 3 months, Keane for 2 months, Afellay for 1 month and Gaven for 4 months, all in the cups.

I expierience it the other way around. In the only game where I played two season(with Ajax) I had difficulties winning and won the championship on the last day on goals to PSV. The second season my strikers scored alot more and my defense conceded less aswell which resulted in a championship in April already.

The inconsistency drives me nuts though. I win about 5 in a row, some against big teams, then lose to Crystal Palace! The way I eventually won the league symbolises it: I needed to win my last game to make absolutely certain. What happens? I lose the last game, but win the title because the 2nd-place team also lost.

Also the inconsistency went away in my third season. I won the league very early that year.This is turning into a f*cking joke!!
I rape Arsenal 5-0 away in the FA Cup, I play Fulham in the league and draw 0-0? yet again, a goal disallowed.
I mean god damn, I have 4 games in hand, and in my last 4 games I have drew 3 and won 1? what kind of bullsh*t is this?
I guess the game doesn't want me to win the league again. Right now I am sitting 2 points clear with 3 games in hand, needless to say I will end up drawing those 3 games again, if I do the game will be getting deleted, this is complete and utter rubbish.

Oh good lord hahahaha this is getting better, I play Sunderland in the FA Cup 6th round, what happens? I lost 4-3, Elliot scored all 4 of them for Sunderland. But oh no as if that wasn't bad enough, I get Ruud injured for 3 weeks and Scholes for 2 weeks, here is where it gets better.
Not only have I received my 7857th injured player via a cup match, my next opponent is none other than Barcelona in the 2nd knock-out stages of the CL, now I ask myself, can this f*cking game get any better?
Although I will have them as I tend to cheat to get them back to full fitness, although I hate cheating, but seeing as the game does nothing but cheat me, surely I can cheat the game back?
I think I will just carry on using my Rangers game which is a few games into the season, this is seriously ridiculous and completely puts me off the game, I guess from now on I need to use my entire u-18 squad for cup matches, this means when half of them get injured in one match I ain't losing out on any seeing as they don't get used.
Ah well, lost 4-8 to Barcelona, I can score 4 goals away yet I don't score at home, it was shocking, I had a goal disallowed (what a f*cking surprise) then they went crazy, they scored, I scored a minute later, everytime they scored I would equalize minutes later, but as usual in the second half they dominate and win. But the last straw was the 0-1 loss to Norwich, I mean jesus christ, this game is nothing but a joke after one season, funny that in my first season I win everything bar the FA Cup, which I got cheated out of as usual, now already in this season I am in 2nd place, out of the FA Cup and CL.

Just KiddingBut kingpug you really should be doing a lot better, im playing with 2 games right now one with Koln which is going great and i dont have tons of quality of players yet i havnt lost by more than 3 goals yet, only lost 0-2 to Bayern
Maybe you should think about a new tactic that suits your players more.About the injures, maybe a change of training.
The game cheats??
Well in my last few games my GK got a 5 rating and then finished on 6, I thought with him singing a new contract he would be better but he wasn't.
This is the exact same defence I used last season, now although my GD is incredible, these games were just one-off, infact I have scored the most and conceded the least in the league, also done the same in the CL group stage.
It just seems that with these must win matches, either the CPU cheats or my team can't handle it, which is weird because they could last season, and it is pretty much the same team I had last season.
I mean is this game even based on stats anymore? here you got a ****e striker for Sunderland who scores 4, then you have Nistelrooy who was top scorer last season, and best player in the WC, yet he can't score?
Plus the fact the GK's are too good, sometimes I play a game and rape them hard, then find out the GK got a 10? fair enough if he is Buffon, but not some GK from Crewe for f*ck sake.

sometimes i really think it does. i mean wtf u won 3-2 away in the first leg then all of a sudden in the return leg your mofokin players LOVE to play back passes that are ALWAYS intercepted. you have never even seen your players pass back to the keeper so far AT ALL. until that match. you lose the home leg 2-0. sigh.Socrates said:

Anyway about the second season syndrome. in the 3 games where i've played 2 seasons, my second has always been more successful than the first, probably because I signa fair few foriegners to the country, they probably learn the language and settle into my tactics a lot better after a season so they own ass.
For instance, 1+2 season with valencia I brought in a fair few foreigners (Kalou, van Persie etc.) then by the thrid season I signed no-one at all and won the league unbeaten and the CL.

From my experience of this game just keep trying new things in your tactic to see if it works or not.
