Scottish Leagues Patch for FIFA 12

Maybe jschuck12001, creater of the CONCACAF mode could give you some hints? I think he was able to implement new tournaments for career mod.

From what I understand, I would need to get rid of some leagues and play with a whole bunch of ids. I am am bit afraid of fiddling with the stability of the game - Getting into a career and having it crash would be a tragedy.

Your right, I dont know how many leagues he needs but he could use the ids from Korea, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, or the MLS. Im trying to figure out the magic ids rinaldo spoke about as well and if I get those working that's 5 new leagues and you don't have to overwrite anything.

only ids you need to touch are league ids, you dont need to touch team ids.

cm12 cannot do this type of edit.

alas no - without some assistance from folk who know how to edit tournaments I can;t go any further let alone release what I've done already. Essentially everything else is done - teams, squads, kits, balls, adboards but I just need the tournament framework in place. With 3 games left though in the season, the cynic in me is tempted just to let it slide. FIFA 12 certainly has thrown up a lot of challenges for modders - I think I preferred FIFA 09 or 08 or 2005 because they seemed far more editable. For FIFA 09 I made a patch which included pretty much all senior and junior teams in Scotland (over 200 teams) but thisntime around the frustration means I can't even release a 30 team patch.

I jest of course (well....not really ). Had a look at your thread and it sounded great. Pity so many EA inspired obstacles have caused you to potentially cancel it.

Hopefully EA make things a bit easier for modders with FIFA 13 and I'll keep an eye out for any of your work.

I have been making Scottish stuff for Fifa games since 99 because I beleive there is more to Scottish Football than the Old Firm and because I follow the champions who have a 30 game winning streak this season

I may have a year off with FIFA 13 because they will actually be in the game for the first time.

even then it would be nice to have a Scottish league patch, because the SPL is not really well represented in the game.

as long as creation center remains an ea selling point fifa will never allow for full on addition of new leagues created by us.
