Scottish Errors

Theres a few Scottish people on this board, including myself, so i thought I'd start a thread to list the errors in the SPL, and the national side, so that someone out there could fix them :)

Kits: Motherwell's are totally wrong, despite the fact I submitted this seasons. The sponsor on Partick Thistle's home top is incorrect. Also, the Rangers third kit isn't there. the Scotland tops are both wrong too, as Scotland have a new away top.

Squad errors: Mark de Vries missing from Hearts, Roddy McKenzie isn't the number 1 goalie
Mixu Paataelinain (god knows if thats the right spelling) isn't at Hibs
Ronald de Boer is missing from Rangers
Burton O'Brien and David McNamee are missing from Livingston
Jose Quitongo is missing from Kilmarnock
David Weir is still in the national side.

Sure there's loads of other faults so list them here :)

Also, who the hell is the guy Al Muwahailid or whatever playing upfront for Aberdeen! I've asked Gavin if this is an obscure swuad member and he's never heard of the guy!! I'll excuse EA for not including Ronald De Boer as I gather this is another licensing problem. His brother is also not in the game. The Scotland squad is pretty much OK for a change. I think that David Weir went in a bad mood with Vogts after the game would have been finished so I'll excuse EA for that error too. I'm a bit disappointed that Gareth thingy is in the Scotland squad and James McFadden and Stevie Crawford aren't though!!

Kilmarnock - Gary Locke(though thats probably something to do with the game's deadline again)

There's probably loads more so I'll leave it to someone else to think of them!!!!

Now I'm sober could I ask what is Dariusz Adamczuk doing in the Rangers squad? Sticking with Rangers who is Alex Hauser and why is Lovenkrands such a poor player when he is clearly the best young player at Ibrox? James McFadden of Motherwell is also grossly under-rated in the game!

Hey don't blame m, me and a mate only researched the SPL and Scotland teams. Oh wait, maybe that's a good reason to blame me :crazyboy:

The guy playing up front for Aberdeen is Leon Mike with a different name. I remember picking up on the error when going through the database, then something showed up saying it was Leon Mike.

Can't comment on the Rangers errors didn't do them. Likewise, didn't make the stats for folk that's EA's job.

Boyd is missing I think because at the time it was looking like he was leaving Celtic.

Locke will probably be down to deadline problems (we had a deadline set before the transfer window shut for some reason) and thats the same reason Quitongo is missing. Same probably with Scott Wilson, god knows why the Hearts guy is missing, I think I gave up listing their youth players. However it's still an error they are missing, and annoying.

The Scotland squad, at the time Crawford and McFadden weren;t in it 0I think).

Mika-Matti "Mixu" Paatelainen is currently residing in Strasbourg. He should retire, really, but I guess he needs the cash and sun.

Paatelainen plays for Hibernian and scored in the Edinburgh derby last week against Hearts

I think he's one of the few players that can't really deny it. he did eat all the pies.
I didn't expect the Rangers 3rd to be in there, its too new.

you also missed out Phil Stamp, admitted the signing was a bit late, but if Niemi isn't in the suqad, it surely could have been updated to have Stamp?:kader:

it's a crime De Vries isn't in the game, you must have been wrapped up in the almighty football first coverage on STV when he pumped the hibs:)

Hey thats not fair we're on Scotsport now :p

Stamp hadn't been signed at the time we did the update, EA did some updating themselves so probably did the Niemi transfer themselves seeing as it was the Premiership they moved to.

St. Mirren aren't even in the game :f***: It's St. Johnstone (Perth), Ross County (Dingwall), Caley Thistle (inverness) Ayr United (Ayr) and Clyde (duno what they are called).

Not making a face for Stillian Petrov, that's a big ****ing mistake right there. I think I'll load up with some explosives and take a trip to EA headquarters... ;)

Fair point about the lack of realistic SPL faces in the game. Only Henrik Larsson has an excellent likeness. I would have thought that despite the low profile of the Scottish League, the Old Firm are famous enough to merit a decent amount of work going into their squads.

also, Andy Kirk is largely overrated in the game, and Jean-Louis Valois, who has been our best player so far along with Elvis, is rated so poorly? :|

The rangers kit wasn't that new! It had been shown on the web site and the papers and stuff months before it came out on sale.

So whats the problem they don't have to wait till it's on sale do they?

I find it unfair Celtic have 3 and we have 2 they should know better than that!
