Scottish Cup Final - Celtic v Dundee United

Honest Man

Youth Team
Half Time: Celtic 1 (Thompson '11) Dundee United 0

CELTIC: Douglas, Agathe, Balde, Varga, McNamara, Petrov, Lennon, Sutton, Thompson, Hartson, Bellamy SUBS Beattie, Valgaeren, Lambert, Laursen, McGeady, Maloney, Marshall.

DUNDEE UNITED: Bullock, Kenneth, McCracken, Archibald, Wilson, Kerr, Brebner, Duff, Robson, Crawford, Scotland SUBS Colgan, Samuel, Dodds, Cameron, Ritchie, Grady, McInnes

I predict a 3-0 win for Celtic. Rab Douglas has had little to do so far so I don't think United will trouble him much. I think Craig Bellamy and John Hartson will score for Celtic in the second half

Reserve Team
Please, do not try to suggest that Alex McLeish has achieved anything like what Martin O'Neill has achieved.

Martin O'Neill has made Celtic a respectable European side, chalking up victories over teams of the calibre of Barcelona, Juventus, Lyon, Porto, Liverpool, Anderlecht, etc, not to mention a UEFA Cup final. He has given Celtic their best European years since the halcyon days of the late 1960's / early 1970's.

Alex McLeish's Rangers have defeated some mid-table Polish side and GAK. He has presided over miserable losses to teams from Zizkov and Alkmaar. In by far the easiest UEFA Cup group, where 3 of 5 teams qualify, and with the need for 1 point from the last 2 games, he somehow managed to get them knocked out. They have been an utter embarassment in Europe.
