Scoring 1on1 chances

So how do you score? I'm playing on legendary and keeper on world class, I usually manage to score when i go head on from the center during a 1on1 attack and tap q+d and a direction arrow but i find it very hard to score when there is an angle between the ball and the goal. The AI never misses their 1on1 breakthroughs and I would like to use my chances but the AI Goalie always manages to block my shots if i use a lot of power during 1on1´s and usually manages to save my low tapped shots into corners as well.
any tips ?

I don't know.. online it's helpfull to use z+D, because they always let the keeper coming out the goal. Offline I always use C+D (i'm using FIFA 08 controls, C = speed or something?) I don't know why but it seems to work.
