What did you use to unzip the files? I tried with IzArc and 7-Zip - both said things like such and such file is 'broken'.

In any case, I might edit the files myself - split them up some more - because right now each file is a separate little playlist. Sounds good on paper, but in reality it means that all the chants in the file will always come out in the same order - which is the only thing I didn't like about PES chantpacks.

I don't quite get the installation process so far

Playlist are done, just follow install instructions on page 1 and make sure you add C:/Chants folder to the WMP library and you are ready to go.

I'm not sure mate - I've heard it's 255, but others have said it's 105. Others still say there's a way to get round the limit completely.

Maybe I'll try downloading again from Filesonic.

i remember there were like 4 or 5 decent ones made for pes 2008 and 2009

Could you be more precise? I got that playlists are already done but then someone must assign them to the teams...

Yes you are correct, the upside of all this is you can easily use chants but the downside is you have to go into "custom chants" section in FIFA and assign the playlists to the specific teams. Its fast on the pc version but I stream playlist to my xbox and it takes forever to assign them.

Yeah VK, I will get some more. I wanted to focus more on club teams now rather than national teams so Nat teams will be coming and I am also doing the leagues of Portugal, Brasil, Russia, and Scotland. Also read page 1 with explanation to get them to work, its very simple but Windows Media player has to have C:/chants added to the library or it wont know where the mp3's are stored.

and another advice - don't use the chants where the voice or the drums are too loud and clear. they don't sound like being performed at the stadium at all.

Gotcha, like I said those were straight conversions that were untouched and some are better than others but I have some good sources and think I will start making my own because really its not that difficult since I have been editing music files for a few years now. Also keep in mind FIFA has its own crowd noise so you have to be carefull when adding crowd noise to a chant then having it clash with crowd noise in the game, try them ingame and see what you think.

I'll break them down this time so they are seperated by league and then also rest of the world. Sorry man but it has to be done as I had a real chance to test on the pc and the volume level was way to low but I have some software that can fix the files very quickly so I can probably rerelease tonight. Should of tested first but they were untouched from PES so I thought they would be perfect level but FIFA has a much louder default crowd noise so thats the issue.

yeah the way i got round the sound levels was to turn everything down in the game except user chants, leave that on 10, then wack the volume up on my amp...not perfect though...are you saying theres a program to edit as a batch or will we have to do every chant individually?

Yeah, the program is listed at the top of page 1 and its called MP3DoctorPro. It will batch process and reads folders which is the reason I will do it and reup. I was worried before posting these chants because I didnt want to get myself involved in editing 2.5 GB of mp3's but its actaully very easy. It also boost sound and gain so I noticed that gain and db numbers were consistant across the board with files that have the correct volume in FIFA. When you use this program you can simply untick the equalizer(unless you want it) and just leave the option for "normalize" clicked and it will normalize the mp3's so that they play at the same level in every program. Its a big difference but for some reason FIFA pc plays the mp3's at a lower level but the Xbox does not and thats where I originally tested these and I stream the playlists to the xbox so it caught me by surprise. The difference between FIFA and PES is FIFA has added default crowd noise and its fricken loud and PES's crowd noise is very low by default. I know you can mess with the volumes but thats cheesy so I will fix it correctly but I still play with commentary at 7 or 8 because its very loud but I do have a 5.1 system setup to my pc. Anyway its an easy fix and I wil reup mediafire links and also add a bunch more chants most of which are International.

Not too much of a problem mate - not if the end result will be better. I need to re download anyway because of all the errors.
