Nevermind that they've all succeeded on good teams before...

Are kicker reliable? They're linking Ricardo Rodriguez to Arsenal. That he has agreed to all terms, even.

Jamie Vardy to Arsenal. Activated his release clause.

Get in!!!!!!!!!!!

AN improvement on Giroud but I would have been happier if he had a bit more height. We need someone tall and strong up front. Giroud has that but sadly during most games, he only has that. I don't think this will go through, but if it does, it's still good. He's a great contributor.

Yeah, but he is quick, deceptively strong, great movement and has a good leap. Runs all day and has a nasty edge which we miss, really. If it goes through, great signing.

Would be confirmation that we won't pass around endlessly near the oppostion box.

Ranieri has just confirmed it. Wow, that was unexpected. It happened so fast, kinda like Bartra to dortmund

@poet11: Definitely a good signing, no doubt in that. His stamina will be useful. Plus he knows how to play well on the counter, something we lack in our strikers

I think it's pretty much confirmed now. Vardy's wife has been getting abuse on twitter and she moved to say

Listen LCFC fans don't come at me with abuse! I have nothing whatsoever to do with calling the shots in my husband's career! Its unfair

Also with Ranieri admitting that the approach has been made. Seems like an exciting move. Another CB and we can actually put up a genuine title challenge that lasts the 38 weeks.

I like Vardy at Arsenal more than at other clubs.

that's a good point actually. Not being a biased Arsenal fan, but I couldn't see him at a club like Liverpool or Chelsea, or Spurs even. I could picture him up front for Arsenal.

Wenger loves wingers though. Hopefully he's not gonna ask him to play on the left of Giroud. If he does, I am done :nape:

I'd consider it a done deal, yeah. Don't know about title challenge but a proper CB and we have no holes in the squad to fill.

And if that Ricardo Rodriquez goes through, we'd have over strengthened which is a surprise. These signings and how easily they have been concluded are big surprises, really.

Arnau

Yep. I think there is no reason to keep him, his contract expires in 2017, doesnt want to renew and just player the best season in his career. BvB will be alright with Pulisic and Dembele, there is no Guardiola to worry anymore too...

Sir Didier Drogba

I guess Leicester will disintegrate now - if Vardy has gone I can't see any way they can persuade Kante and Mahrez and even Fuchs and Drinkwater to stay....

So Arsenal are pretty much solely responsible for killing the dream - bastards. Hope you don't make top four.

My dream wide player is Mahrez to be honest but obviously would be excited with Mkhi.

xhaka, and Vardy-Mahrez(Mikhi) will be make Arsenal kind of favorites if they retain bellerin and sign a CB.
