Probably time for Schalke to cash in on him. Their attacking lineup isn't working and they obviously won't hang on to him. They have Sam comih in and Meyer and Goretzka in the side, anyway. I prefer we signed hin or he went tto Bayern (and if we get Kroos as a result even better). Certainly hope Arsene messes it up again with him.

The Arsenal German contingent is now becoming significant, and he may want to move there both to feel more at home and to come more under the radar of the selectors who must now be glued to every Arsenal match.
