Now its time for the 3th Royal League season.

Its the 4 best teams in Norway, Sweden and Denmark who make 3 groups, and then the top 2 in every gruoup, plus the two best 3th place to a cup.

Today its the seasonstart. Rosenborg vs Brann. (1-2 after 40 min)

Rosenborg - Brann ended 1-3. One of the worst matches I've ever have seen, and a well deserved win for Brann.


We in Norway have complained quite a lot about the referees in the league this year. But the the Swedish ref today was just record low. Seriously, was he drunk or something?

9 days to VIF are gonna open this Royal League against the swedish champions; Elfsborg.

It's a shame to see that there are so few in the stands. Maybe they should wait a month or two after the season is finished before RL starts. People just don't seem to be interested in these matches. Which I think is really disappointing, because the concept is very good.

Jup, 9 players were out due to various reasons (mostly injuries).

We have really gotten a bad start, and only a win against Odense is good enough now. But that will be very difficult, Odense have impressed in the UEFA Cup this year.

It should be mention though, that the 268 178.987 Euros they get is for only winning the RL, if a team win every match in the RL they will win:

4 750 600 Danish kroner = 636 958.291 Euro

Rosenborg will not see difference in balance i think.

But, its good money for VIF to buy players. Now have Petter Myhre told that he wants 4 players. Looking good for 2007-season.
