Won 7-0 but top won 5-0 so am still in second

Running out of time to make Div2 unless I can get a pomotion from second, but doubt will be many inactives in div2. Anyone got an insight?

Dunno but I'm second in div3 as well, though I think I can win the league...only one point in it. There will be a few inactives cast down methinks but not many.

Paul, I think there's a trick to it. Try playing your better attacking midfielder say, a pixel lower down in the tactics screen. I think the sim picks the furthest one up to fill in in defense.

But don't quote me on that, it might be the other way around :)

Well I have made sure that they are both in line so I guess it may have been random, or maybe it was because he plays on the right as does my captain.

Could also be how close to the side of the pitch they are. I'm sure I saw something about the midfielder closest to the wing moving back into defense if there's a sending off.

My games just started: 0-0 so far versus the top team. I'll let you know how it goes.

EDIT: woohoo! 100% home record maintained thanks to 2 goals, including a late winner, from Olle Jakobsson. :D

So now I've beaten 2 of the top 3 teams at home... it's just a shame I can't win away :(

Argh, I really hate Ham feckin Rangers. I was leading 6-0 and they injured my makeshift striker three minutes before halftime (who had scored four goals within the first 39 minutes - roughly one goal every 10 mins!).

He got replaced by a crap ex-youth who, funnily enough, somehow managed to score. :o But my attack was further weakened by that injury and we only managed a further two goals in the second half because of it. And now I have to hope he isn't unavailable like Tosh as well. :S

Final score was 8-0 so I'm pleased with that, but not with the injury, I wanted Hayden to score at least six. ;)

That win for young Ash there has thrown our league wide open now, easy 4-1 win for me, bring on Backwell next week!

Won 6-0 against the 3rd placed team, 18-1 scoring chances. Still 1st by goal difference.
Nice to see that my new striker bagged a hat trick :)

Huge debt to my "panic buy" 9-ball swede...

20 minutes in I was 2-0 down, 2-2 in SC. A proper bit of :f***: and :s***: going on at my computer screen watching it in Analyser.

Swede gets one back just before half-time. Swede gets another 4 in the second half :D

5-2, 25-6 in SC, don't want to see my team do that EVER again...

EDIT:

New league table, Chesham and Gareth both won 7-0:
