Let me explain the Chelmsford strikers situation...

One of them has 9 balls shooting

The other has 8 balls shooting, but is still improving so, like the first one, will soon have 9 balls shooting.

All they need now is one more English 9 ball shooter.

Drawn 2-2 all because of my defender getting a red card in the 26th minute...Scored an equalizer in the 91th minute...
Still first with two points ahead of the team I played today.

All other matches turned to be in my favour

Btw...you guys might want to check out a team named Chraftvoll...16-0, with his top scorer scoring 12...the guy's got 27 Goals in 4 matches :(

2-2. I hosted Surreal Madrid.

Paul and I had met three times before today. Once in October where I won 5-1 at home, in November where I lost 3-2 away, and then only last week where we drew 0-0 at Surreal Madrid's ground, so it was always going to be very tight.

After 12 minutes, my star player and spine of my attack, Eloy Beila (Worth £390,000, purchased for £186,000 :D) was injured due to a nasty tackle from one of Surreal Madrid dirty players who I suspect targeted him to take him out of the game. :mad:

I went 1-0 down after only two minutes, I hadn't even got comfortable and I was already shouting at the monitor.

I equalised through Henry Everton, and minutes after equalising I found myself 2-1 up, ironically, through Eloy Beila's replacement who has 0 balls in shooting.

I went into the break at 2-1 up, and a big smile on my face as I entered the bathroom. After coming back, I resumed the game, and my centre-back seemed to enjoy pressing forward which means his forwards had a route to goal, and when trying to get back, he fouled one of Paul's men, and they were level 2-2 with a penalty. The levels of obscenities I was shouting at the monitor was alarming. I'm the equivalent of Graeme Souness in need of anger management. :D

We both conceded a ridiculous amount of free kicks. I know Paul was extremely angry last week after his 3-3 draw with Risely that he had conceded so many free-kicks, and I was hoping to capitalise upon this with Eloy Beila, but he was taken off injued, so I never really had the chance to expose this weakness and take advantage.

It was a pretty fair result, Surreal failed to capitalise on their posession, whilst I got more shots away on goal, and it finished 2-2. I'm angry the way it all turned out through - a penalty, and losing my best player so early into the game. If Eloy had have played the entire 90 minutes, I honestly think I would have found myself sitting in 2nd place this evening.

However, Eloy will be back on Tuesday in time to concentrate on my cup games which I am pleased about.

I've pretty much given up hope of promotion this season. Chesham are 4 points ahead of Surreal, and 5 points ahead of myself. Chesham has scored 17 and conceded 0 after 4 games. He has kept a clean sheet for 370 minutes, and is scoring 1 every 21 minutes.

A draw would be the best result seeing as that may allow me back into the title race, however if Chesham is victorious come Sunday, then I think Paul and myself can wave goodbye to promotion as Surreal and myself would be chasing the leader by 7 and 8 points (if I fail to win) respectively after only 5 games.

I'm going to start building for next season by reducing my wage bill first of all, and selling off my deadwood which will save me £5,692 per week, which is approximately £90,000 a season + £300,000 from the player sales, which will enable me to draft in players of a calibre to rise above the levels of Surreal and Chesham next season, whichever one fails to achieve promotion.

All in all another result which has gone Chesham's way, and I'm sure Paul is, like myself, feeling frustrated with the outcome of todays game as both of us came very close, only the woodwork stopping either of us from picking up maximum points.

Our match was quite simply breath-taking, on a par with this weekend real-life Premiership action. The only thing missing was a winner.

A draw, I feel, is a fair result neither of us will be satisfied with. Although I'm still unbeaten in the league, finding yourself four points down on the leader after just four games is quite daunting. Regardless of whatever medz has said, I expect next week's game to be just as close.

A point about the free-kicks: for some reason, despite myself playing with Normal aggression, and Gareth playing Aggressive tactics, my team gave away just as many free kicks. Similarly last week, when I gave away twice as many free kicks. It's something I'm just going to have to accept I think, as long as my team keep giving as passionnate performances I guess :)

Overall an eventful match which I enjoyed thoroughly I recommend watching it if you have analyser (better than MZ live imo).
