Round 12: Previews and Results

Yay I got to make it today!

Huge game for me tomorrow, against the top team Backwell FC. If I win then I go 1st, if I lose I'll probably go 4th.

I'm at home but it won't be easy. They use the meatwall, which I was fairly confident about beating until mowzington snipers took me apart with it during the week (the only team to use it against me in the last week, so I haven't been able to see if it was just because it was against a good team).

Also Backwell achieved my ultimate ambition during the last week - being ranked 666!

Championship match tomorrow. I win I pretty much am promoted (5pts clear), tie I remain 2pts ahead, lose and i'm 1pt down. If i dont win i dont know what i'll do

I've beaten Blackwell twice this season Ash, dead easy the only problem is I lost both games against you and have drawn 3 as well.

If I don't beat them spuds Bacardi tomorrow I think i'll cry

I'm up against the group leaders this week, need a win to go top. Our teams are more or less equal so It'll be a tough test.

Playing inactive bottom at home, they haven't got a point all season so an easy 3 points i hope, 2 points behind leaders, lying in 2nd. All will come down to next week when i play top.

Playing one of "those" teams this week, Riseley. DEspite my team being worth 2x theirs, last match I struggled to get a 3-3 draw as they scored a Penalty, Free Kick, and what can only be described as a "Massimo Taibi"

Should win though, even away

Playing third...challenged away before, won 4-3 after being down 3-0...Although my team's form and value are better...this might decide if I get the championship this season.

I play the 3rd placed team today, and i know that a draw will send me to Div1 and clinch the title.

I play second to bottom tommorow and im looking to improve my goal difference. At the end of the season it is possible for Surreal, West Ham and myself all to be level on points so ill take all the goals i can.

Hoping my fellow Yorkshire man at Risley can take another couple of points of Myfatcat tommorow

Won 7-0 (26-0 SC) and top lost 2-1 to 4th. Which means they have lost two in a row, i play them next week, i go top by one point this week and have a higher goal difference. So looking quite good apart from the fact they beat me 3-1 at home last time around.

I won 3-0 (23-0 SC) against 3rd place. I have won my league (2.8)

Erm, anyway, if I win in just less than an hour, then I'm two points behind second and a chance of getting that spot on the final day... anything else and I won't get it, plus Knights can win the title. They need to avoid defeat against me and beat Swish on the last day, if they lose today, Swish will win the title on GD. As long as neither slip up against erm, out-of-form Unruly, Viper Youth and inactive Ham Rangers...

I was confident on beating him until he used the paid service "challenge top teams" and got an advantage I had to use a different tactic in a FL and he did as well, he was looking for a counter after having 16-8 SC against him in the challenge.

Then he challenged me yesterday. It was an even game but he had home advantage, he went back to the 4-3-3 ... I'm hoping I've done enough to make him use that and I'll go back to my normal tactic and get double SC.

Needless to say, if I lose I won't be happy as if he couldn't challenge me (which is supposed to be implemented soon) then I probably would've won ... now I don't know. Fingers crossed ... c'mon I need some luck after the awful luck I had to begin with, I oculd've even been challenging for the title otherwise.

Won 3-1

Was fairly happy with my keeper, saved 6 shots on target, the one he let in was a long shot when we were comfortably winning 3-0 ... brought an end to five games without conceding but we now have six wins in a row.

Defence did well and strikers did too, three goals from 16 shots on target, should've got another at the end but it was enough for the win.

Best thing was we did it without one of my best midfielders, and a crappy ex-youth played instead.

thrashed 7-1 - my worst league defeat ever I think.

Won 6-0 should've been loads more.

Poor Ash got hammered by a meatwall.

Looks like Blackwell for the Premier league next season, even though I've beaten them twice this season

Walk in the park today a nice 8-0 victorie away from home. Makes my goal difference far supirior to Surreal and West Ham so things are looking good.

Looked for a time that Surreal would drop points again but he scraped a win.

Oh well next week im at home to West Ham. If i win i can preety much get my name engraved on the trophy

I have grabbed a 4-0 win against the second from bottom side which takes me into second as the second placed side in my league lost against the top side. This win also takes me five points ahead of the fourth placed team after they lost 2-0 to the team bottom of the division
