this may be in the game but to a very select few
and may take a good bit of control work to pull of

with the who made the trick story
no one not even the person who actually made the trick can really say who made the trick
many other people patented it like ronaldinho just because they don;t have the outright confidence to pull it off in a game that u saw doesn't mean anything
and finally no body owns a trick that is impossible u can't copyright a trick from human useage plus that akes away from the game that is football ,a game of expression

Ive seen Ibrahimovic use that move once or twice, way before I saw 'dinho use it

I didn't say anything about anyone starting a move, I just said I SAW Zlatan use it before I SAW 'dinho use it.

Sérgio Echigo invented it.

He was a kid who played with Rivellino in the Corinthians U-20 team. Rivellino mastered the move, and used it in the 82 WC. Everyone from the press asked him about that strange and "quick" move, and he told this story that i'm posting now and called it Elastico ("rubber band" in portuguese).

And Ronaldinho did this move lots of times when he played in Gremio, in 1998/1999.

He used other move that still have no name also, its some kind of elastico, but with his heels. He pass the ball behind one of his legs, and do a elastico... a mix of the "rabona" and elastico. I think i saw he doing this in PSG one time.

Tiagosoares is right. and this move is not SOOO rare in Brazil. to say the most famous, Romario did it many times as Ronaldo did so.

I remember that! :rockman: he did it at least once in national too long time ago, I wondered wtf was that and I was watching the replay again and again and again damn...no defender could stop it coz noone even knew wtf was that (H) (H)

When you consider that Rivellino was doing it during the 1970s and 80s, you must be saying that a two year old Ibrahimovic gave Rivellino the move which is probably stretching reality somewhat... ;)

Now calm down... Zlatan is a talent, but he certainly didn't invent the move.

Edit: I really hope this move makes it into the new version of PES/WE :) It needs to be a really tough move to do though... and if a player isn't good enough to do it and attempts it, the player should definitely fall a*se over t*t as a punishment... That'd stop people making it commonplace within the game.
