Yep. I've heard it too. It's written in today's Gazeta Sporturilor :D

Piturca sent his right hand Stefan Iovan to watch Ogararu play in two games ... Ogararu played all 180 minutes and played very good. I hope we'll see him back into the NT

@FC Vaslui, CONGRATS for the result against Dinamo :D:D:D

Yeah we'll see how long that will last since Piturca called him up in the last few games as well but at the last moment he cancelled it :nape:
It's about time he invited Ogararu cause he is becoming more and more important for us, last game against Arsenal he was everywhere and this season he will be in the first 11 almost every game :hump:

True but this is a friendly so I'm hoping he'll keep him and give him a chance to play. Contra has been performing very well at that position but if he goes down with an injury we have to have another player that has been ingrained in the system and Ogararu is that player. That's why it's important he gets called up. He doesn't necessarily have to play, he's still young he has time to get his caps, but he has to be used to the Romanian NT atmosphere in order to come in and play right away and do it well when Contra will no longer be available.

Cosmin Contra (Getafe CF), Cristian Chivu (Internazionale Milano), Răzvan Raţ (FC Şahtior Doneţk), Paul Codrea (AC Siena), Florentin Petre (TSKA Sofia), Ciprian Marica (VfB Stuttgart) şi Adrian Mutu (Fiorentina)

no Ogararu (:/)

Ogararu > Petre
Ogararu > Codrea

I have no idea why piturca keeps calling Codrea to the squad ... :| He has a few players he "preferes" ... and some he dislikes ... Sergiu Radu, Vlad Munteanu, Ogararu ... damn him.

Eh, at least we're getting results with the squad he chooses, even if i don't agree with some players ... we NEED to qualify to this tournament ...

(N)Ogararu is injured and will be out for at least a month!
He sustained a hamstring injury during the game against psv on saturday :(
I don't know when you guys have to play again but if its within a month then he won't be there. (N)

oh damn :|
Well, i doubt Piturca would've called him anyway :-<
So it's more of a loss for Ajax ... still, he's one of my favorite players. Always a bad news when one of your fav players gets injured ...

Not a bad result (Y), gives me confidence about your youth system.

Just one game shouldn't though, considering the fact that Englands youth system has always been continously bad.

I haven't seen any other games from your U21 though and neither do i know the results so i can't judge.

I saw the game today that's why i am commenting. (H) Good game overall. Killed some time.

:(

Mazilu is injured, so Niculescu will replace him.

BTW, Dinamo's Liga 1 match is postponed because they have too many injured players... this will never happen in other countries. :|

Great result against Turkey, Piturca is a genius when it comes to the NT (Y). Here's the roster of non-domestic players that he called up for the EURO Qualifier against Belarus and the friendly against Germany:

Cosmin Contra (Getafe CF), Gabriel Tamaş (AJ Auxerre), Cristian Chivu (Internazionale Milano), Răzvan Raţ (FC Şahtior Doneţk), Paul Codrea (AC Siena), Florentin Petre (TSKA Sofia), Alin Stoica (KAA Gent), Laurenţiu Roşu (Recreativo Huelva), Ciprian Marica (VfB Stuttgart), Adrian Mutu (Fiorentina), Sergiu Radu (VfL Wolfsburg) şi Daniel Niculae (AJ Auxerre).

Sergiu Radu and Alin Stoica (Y)

German doctors report Razvan Cocis should desist from playing for at least a year and there is even a possibility for him to end up his career :(

Yeah your doctors at Loko pretty much f*cked him up telling him that it was nothing serious and allowed him back in training. He could of been a great footballer (:/)

What happened with Ganea this weekend btw I mean did he go mental or smth?

Very f*cked up situation, he just had a moment where his brain shut down and he acted purely on instincts, in other words he went :gavin:
