Cassano Flees Trigoria After Being Dropped From Squad

The Antonio Cassano bomb has exploded in Roma’s Trigoria training ground this morning, just hours before the yellow and red club’s match against Dinamo Kiev is set to take place.
The player, who was sent off last Sunday for a hand in the face of Fiorentina defender Chiellini, stormed off the training pitch after arguing with coach Rudi Voeller.

It appears the altercation began when Voeller told Cassano he would not be playing this evening because he has appeared to be particularly nervous of late.

Cassano then drove away from Trigoria, with the club saying they authorized this decision.

With Cassano surely out of the picture for tonight’s clash, on-form Vincenzo Montella is set to partner Roma skipper Francesco Totti on attack

fkn roma fans at that stadium are soo pathetic. how many times have we seen it happen with as roma. i think for a team that has only won 3 scudetti they really are sore losers. if im not correct it was roma, who last season had to play games away due to crowd trouble???
