Pires would have to be clinically braindead to make a declaration like that after, potentially, costing his club the win with that b.s. at the weekend, and then laughing it off like it was nothing afterward.

On top of that, he must be smart enough to realize that with the way he is playing, the summer rumors about Inter Milan and Valencia would quickly give way to the reality of ike Ligue I or Turkey. My guess is he wants to stay in a larger league
