Roaccutane.

Hi. I've just recently started to have a lot of problems with complexion and my aunt, who is a doctor, told me bout Roaccutane. She told me it was very, very good for complexion but advised against it as it has some serious side effects like causing depression.

Anyone here in the drug? Are the side effects strong and stuff? I've heard cases of people committing suicide because of Roaccutane.

You may wonder why I want to risk it but I care bout the way I look so yeah.

Thanks in advanced.

Just go to a dermitaologist. They'll give u two things. One thing to clean out the bacteria in the pores, and another thing to prevent future breakouts. And both safe, its ur best bet.

ive actually used Roaccutane, used to treat acne about 4-5 years ago, not to many side effects except dry skin for me, and that was all, pretty expensive thing to take, dermatologist reccomended it, had to have a few blood tests before was allowed to take it.

If it's a serious acne problem, don't bother with OTC drugs, they really suck.

I used to use Retin-A for my acne a couple of years back when it was bad, but my acne's died down since then, so I don't use it much anymore. The stuff is quite powerful and expensive.

I also used Roaccutane for about a year, I had really, really dry skin - but my acne is virtually non-existent now. One of my mates took it a few years back and he still has somewhat dry lips, but I've never seen anyone who has taken it who suffered from depression.
