Though, perhaps the neatest feature of FIFA 2003 is the employment of the right analog stick. It can be a little tricky to use mid-game, but doing so will make the player currently under control perform jukes, body swerves, and changes of pace in the direction the stick is pushed. We found this to be a very effective way of performing quick turns and runs down the wing, although it was arguably a little too effective when we weren't playing against a human opponent
To all you PC-owners battling it out on a keyboard or digital pad:
Time to change your ways. I bought an analog pad recently and WC2002 got so much more interesting instantly. It meant complete freedom in passing angles. With the 2003 installment the right stick seems to become more and more important.
My guess is you won't be able to play the game like you want to without the right pad. My advice: a Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Master 2. I'm sure there are other quality products on the market, but this one handles great, doesn't break easily and is quite cheap (22 Euro in Holland).
