Is moddingway watermark everything without any permission?
The Face modeler Eight and I am so glad that soccergaming users love Eight' Face patches and thanks to users who show lots of lovely replies to us.
But from we start to upload our patches, we get few questions.
There was no request but the patch was linked in moddingway. So Eight the patcher, just think like, "Oh, maybe I shall understand it.. I put my patch on soccergaming and It means everyone can share it.."
So, Is it fine to link patches from the soccergaming without agree of original patchers? Maybe yes, we all link patches to our fan site without agreement, either. That because it is quite hard to get agreement of international patchers so no one argue about it.
But why there is "moddingway" watermark on the preview photo which Eight posted on soccergaming.
Check the photo down below. Down right below you see moddingway watermark.
It seems as if the patcher is a moddingway' team and the patch' right reserved in them.
But the patcher Eight is not the moddingway patcher at all and he don't want his preview photo got moddingway watermark.
So Modification and Link may OK if they put the author name and original link site to show the genuine maker to public..
But like this case, it must be a cheating!
