and the assignGameKit command:

Your CL kits display like that because the textures are missing. The Everton kits in your game are the protection version because of alcohol advertising restrictions in your country. Either add 40 to the kittype in your statements and filenames, or disable country protection kits.
You are using the Moddingway version, it seems they have taken out those functions.
