guys i've been yelling defence defence during first half, defence should be little tight.

My favourite part, so far, was when Luis Hernandez got yellow-carded - however, it took the referee 66 minutes to realise that Hernandez was diving the entire match?
And good call on Blanco - once a dirty player, always a dirty player.

Great game by the U.S. as for the mexican players it should be more then just one red card, they played like scum, kicking american players when they were down, intentionally fouling them, I spit on these mexican players, they dont deserve to go home with their heads held high, they should be shunned for the poor sportsmanship that they showed on the field. Bravo to the U.S. they showed a fantastic game of football, level headed, and true, they deserve the win, and good luck to the U.S. in their next mach against Germany

How different the game would have been with that penalty shot and a red card for that player.
The refs have made some bad mistakes in a couple of games.

That's just how Mexico plays. They have a few dirty players and the referee let them get away with a lot. I know all Mexican fans are going to bring up the Hand of God by O'Brien, but the referee had been giving Mexico every call on every dive. Plus, a pk against Friedel has proved to be nothing instead of a goal.
I always get frustrated that the style that the USA plays though, but it is working. They put no pressure and they let the other team possess the ball way too much. As long as the USA gets an early goal and can settle in more on defense, they can beat a lot of teams. Germany vs. the US is going to be a very boring, but interesting game. I think if the US scores first on Germany, they will win.
How about the class shown by Marques? What an idiot. He should be banned globally several games for that real class act. I guess he is competing with Blanco for the most classless player award. Blanco should have been sent off as well.

Well, if having your eyes closed and thrusting your head towards the ball is blatant, then okay, it was blatent. But the moment I saw it, I said "Yea, that should have been a handball, but it doesn't look like he meant to do it." I mean, blatant is just running up not trying to get position and just jumping up and hitting the ball, eyes wide open, no attempt to head it.
