Oh boy what a dead match. I could have coached a better senegal team. Senegal's coach is worst than a vegetable. He left those guys out to dry like laundry clothes during the second half and extra time. He is solely responsible for Senegals loss. He even had the cortesy to drink water while his players were down and out with fatigue. No sub, nothing. Their coach was waiting for the sky to rain frogs. Too bad for senegal. 1-0 to Turkey; Golden Goal from super subtitute. Hope they loose to Brasil if Germany wins Korea (Is that ever possible nowadays) cos Germany -Brasil final will give me something to cheer about.

Yep, Turkey played some hot football through that match against an erratic and nervous Senegal, and if Turkey would have taken there chances it could have ended up with 4 or 5 more goals, Sukar had a bad bad day, but lets not forget his past form hey, and the Turkey v Brazil match looks set to be a football feast no matter what the end result will be. C'mon yee Koreans, whoops what did i say.
i said it before n i'll say it again ... Hakan Sukur is finished ... he has other matters on his mind besides football , some of the turks here mite know what im talking about .. how could he miss those goals? anyway good ridance to him WELL DONE to all the others! that was the best game we have played so far but really i waz expecting more from senegal ... congratulations to our golden goal hero ILHAN MANSIZ ! hopefully he will start next match instead of that idiot Sukur ... Brasil vs Turkey watta REMATCH!

I think Senol should start Arif and Ilhan together and take out one of the weak defenders, or start Arif first because we need someone strong against Brazil, then again Ilhan can fly through them with his speed. The fact that their both better than Hakan Sukur makes it relize it doesn't matter at this point, but start someone else.
We need someone to finish the crosses from Umit Davala and Hasan Sas and Ilhan did just that. I think we can do it ... we have a big chance.

I CAN't believe you man, do you know why we had open deffence against senegal and do you know why Basturk and Sas was speeding against open Senegal's deffence? let me tell you why. Because of Hakan Sukur. 3 deffenders mark Sukur if you have noticed it. If they don't mark him with at least 2-3 deffenders Hakan Sukur will just score easily. And that leaves a big gap to Sas and Basturk when the turkish midfielders Tugay and Emre makes those great long passes. I think Hakan and Ilhan (Arif can replace Ilhan later on in the game) can start. Ilhan will be wide open again just like he was today when we did not see any deffenders challenging against him but instead they were with Sukur. Thats how an importand player Sukur is if you realise that in the game. Yes I agree that he missed great chances but who does not? And he is not a Ronaldo, but he is the best Turkish striker who works very hard. He was unlucky today actually he was unlucky the whole turnament.

Same here, I love Sas. I want him to stay with Gala. Besides for the past few years Gala is much more better side than Juventus and much more popular. What is he going to do in Juventus? At least with Gala he will have the chance of winning that CL cup
Turkey have a great chance of reaching the finals. They put up a firm and solid performance in their previous encounter with Brazil and should look to exploit their weaknesses.
Senegal were really brought down to earth yesterday...the sleek passing game of Turkey was just too much to take for hard-running Senegal. One can imagine an air of arrogance that might have entered the minds of Senegalese players as for the first time they were not regarded as the underdogs...and that might have affected them. Having said that, Bruno Metsu has indeed revitalised the team.

They'll probably bench him and kill him like Italy killed Hakan Sukur. I mean ... is Italy just taking our players for the hell of it. If we have played together trough out this whole time the Turkish NT would be MUUUCH better because of how long they have worked together.
