Replacing 2GF for an existent face

Well, I can't replace an exisiting face with a 2GF :(, for example, Van Nistelrooy face, I only get it works changing with CC the ID Face for an unused ID Face for the 2GF work (I've been using the ID Technology)
Can some1 explainme how to fix that?
