Replace the referee whistle sound!

Replacing the referee whistle sound:

You know what i mean! For kick-offs, throw-ins, corner-kicks, and offsides, the referee blows the whistle like a 3 year old. It is Disgusting!

The whistle sound for the foul though is excellent, very much authority to get your attention.

SO, i have gone ahead and edited the foul sound whistle in half so that i can replace it for the kick-offs, throw-ins, corner-kicks, and offsides, BUT after editing, importing, and running the game, as soon as the new sound is done playing in the game there is a CRACKLE for 1/2 a second.

I want to perfect this so that it is WITHOUT the CRACKLE!

First i exported the files out of data/audio/AUDSFX00.BIG
Second i exported the game00.bnk .WAV files out of this file.
Third i edited the new sound file
Fourth i replaced the old with the new
Fifth i put the game00.bnk back into audsfx00.big
Sixth i ran the game and it had the CRACKLE!

Please, if anyone can help, please help me. I would LOVE to create a patch to replace this file and release to everyone, but i have to get rid of that crackle.
