Release date for PC version of WE9I pushed back till April??

Man this sucks! :kader: None of the major retailers in my area have the pc version listed in thier systems, let alone any release date. I may have order it from friggin' Amazon if I wanna play it anytime soon. :nape:

The release date for Xbox ,PS2,PSP and PC is exactely the same the 7th February 2006 and has NOT been pushed back. Wolf has already shown you here:-

Look in the 3rd peice of news dated 02.03.06 and I have already ordered mine from a web site in ASIA that had copies in stock dating back to the 19th january.

Konami have limited the amount of retailers that would normally stock it, in the US... But I do not know why. Also I do not know why EBgames and other US retailers have changed their release date...very strange :nape:

Yeah but try ordering the pc version directly from Konami right now...you can't. They only have the console versions available.

I already ordered mine from Amazon anyway. It's not like I don't live near a major city but the pc version is nowhere to be found.

None of the stores here had it - gamestops, big retailers, etc. 2/7 is the shipping date guys. They will start selling the game tomorrow.

The gamestops and such will be receiving their copies tomorrow after 10a.m. No word from bigger retail stores. Target said soon but no specific time.

I think this is only for the asiatic market, and the WE9 pc for AMERICAN market, the old "International" will be released in America in the Spring 2006. Eb games date is: April 4 2006 and the Official American site for pc write still "spring 06" and in other sites date is for the First Quarter 2006...

The asiatic version don't have the cover with John Terry as in the official american site, and this version could be different respect the american version for PC...

I think this is only for the asiatic market and not the American WE9 (old International)

Whereabouts do you live? Did Gamestop/EB tell you they were specifically getting the pc version in on the 8th? There's a crapload of GS/EB's in my area and none of them has this title listed in their system, meaning they won't be getting it-at least not anytime soon...unless their database is f***ed up.

Yes i believe so, Winning Eleven 9 is called as such in Asia, Pro Evolution Soccer in Europe and Winning Eleven 9 International in the US!!

Perhaps the April North American release date for the pc might be true....

My order through Amazon still hasn't shipped yet and until it does, I'm going to assume they never had it in stock.

Wolf is right; perhaps someone should burn Konami's American offices down.
