So what kind of chants can we expect? Will it be more like WE6 or will you have the actual crowd chants from a real game? Can I apply this patch over my Devil Ken Masters patch? Some details would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

okay some details

it has chants from WE6 and PES

and i have tried this : i had a clean bin file then applied kevins patch after that i applied my patch and then regenarate the sectors with ECCregen and then i burned it and it worked for me so, but i lett someone check it so i let you know

it won't include spurs chants because they aren't in the game but i'm still working on it so i hope in the future i can import what i want :)

but it has cool england chants i think thats the best from all edited teams :)

Hi mate,


I'm also working on chants, I've collected some very good ones. Don't worry, I'm no competition, just working on some cool ones from portugal :)

I have some doubts that you might have nice awnsers to:

- How do you finish a good quality adx? I've managed to sucessfuly modify chants and music but although I follow up konami's rules about 16 bit files (mono for chants and stereo for music) and the 24000hz sampling I end up with files with loads of back noise...

any hint on how I can end up with nice quality adx? (using goldwave now)

second - I analised FE bin and it looks as every club and national team owns their own chants (even if crappy ones) but I don't ear them at all. Do we need to win something to unblock their usage? ( I heard that somewhere, can't remember where).

First point :

i have the chants from we6 and PES so i don't convert them myself , but i'm woring on it.
And i can't get a good wave to adx convert too, but again i'm working on it and i let you guys know


Second thing :

The National teams, you can hear the chants by setting crowd stand on "home and away" or "Derby".
Club teams : you have to win the konami cup with an clubteam and then you will unlock the commantary name for the club, then you have to set the real name or city name of the club for example : Feyenoord you have to set the commantary name on Rotterdam

and it is compitable with kevins english patch :)

since I'm also working on this complex world of soundpatching and since my work doesnt conflict with yours, if you find suitable have my e-mail and MSN messenger e-mail so we can exchange ideias man.

Blubub: make no confusion, I'm not in this patching team, but I'm sure you will be able to get this patch applied ABOVE other patches, like for instance, the translation patch.

Anyway the best clean way to go is to first aply one patch, then burn, make a new image, apply the second patch and so one, and pray it doesn't conflict.


Still to antiz: you will probably need to edit some adx from previous games since they will most probably not be 100% fitable in terms of size, so you will probably have the same problems than me.

Anyway think about it... better than using only previous games' sounds is to have a good old "glory, glory man utd" or "allez OM" fitted into the game. It creates a cool atmosfere.

If you ask me sound givesm uch more atmosfere than the kits themselves since you only see them well in the beggining... thwe 90 mins you see small guys running in the field so chants and music become the most realistic thing about the patch.
