Bro, I have tested this many times--it has no effect.
These have effect:
CPU/AI_HOME_DIFFICULTY
CPU/AI_AWAY_DIFFICULTY

How can an altitude code affect ball physics?
Ball physics have their own codes.

How many codes have you tried? I have no idea what is wrong with your FIFA 13.
Do you think a GP maker would make a video which only shows off in-game sliders and not his codes?

I don't know how it affects in the game and the scale of that parameter, but in real world altitude affects gravity. possibly you need basic physics class.
Also which codes affect specifically ball physics in fifa12? I am not sure I saw it in you product.ini. CPU/AI_HOME_DIFFICULTY yes these flags are present in origina product.ini and work in career mode and in fifa13.

Ball roll spin multiplier, or context ball bounce override??
I didn't use any codes in my ini that affect ball physics because I think the default physics are just fine.

I don't think what would someone else do or think. I am keen enough to understand how software works to draw conclusions from hard solid facts. You probably need to make you fifa13 work first and try to mod it first before announcing your gp from fifa12 will work. I am not saying no codes will work, but so far I have not seen one.

I never said that my '12 GP will work on '13. I know it works for FIFA 12.
From what you were saying, you did infer that you thought no gameplay codes worked in 13.
As I said, try Fidel's mod and look for differences between his and the default.

no it doesnt, its not even a gameplay file, its merely a config file fifa reads, just so happens that everyone chose to use product instead of another ini.

because altitude goes hand in hand w/ ball physics bro.
physics on a ball are affected by altitude, nfl for example, kick a fg in a stadium & then kick one in denver at mile high.

there is a lot of code in fidels file that has no effect on gameplay, no disrespect to him, i respect him, i respect his efforts & i respect his time.

the problem w/ gameplay files feedback is the patch is used by everyone, kids to men some who have no idea whats actually changed & what isnt.

you cant go off of posts by members, why do you think i use the same testers every year for my file before i release it.

i dont care what anyone but them says because they are basically modding the gameplay w/ me.

i edit something, i tell them what i changed so its more than just my eyes seeing whats changed.

the key to gameplay this year is the database & its attributes, i have managed to get the defense to play a little better for both humans & cpu, the refs calls are a little more stricter & the teams buildups are a bit slower via code, but unfortunately the db will require editing.

if & when i decide to get a new machine i will release a db that will make fifa 100x better.

its already in the works but being put off until im back up & running.

yes altitude worked in fifa12 and has nothing to do with career. It is actually one of the favs of RC i believe. With his db edits (and idea to play with traits) really brought the game to a different level. I hope something close could be achieved in this fifa, but my concern ea actually noticed that hacking around and locked (made more secure) it

ea aint stopping me from editing its db.

i will make it happen in time, i can work on it now & send the db to my testers to get opinions, but nothing is released until i approve it.

This is the last thing I will say about this. I never said it didn't work, but it only works in career mode. RC and I agree on this.
For now I am not working on a GP for 13. My FIFA 12 gameplay is almost done.
