As you can see, I did not lie one bit.

Few things to notice, AI doesn't do heck loads of Iniesta turns, massive point for me.

The AI doesn't rely on trickery. Another plus for me.

Was using custom slider settings which I will give to Regularcat if I find balance. So far liked what I saw.

Plus I am using same sliders when I play vs AI and I don't see problems with them, so can clearly say what you see above is how AI will play against human too.

Ecstatic! Amazing! Stunning! Etc. etc. :)

Remember folks, it's still Work In Progress... If this continues... We may have best SIMULATION of FOOTBALL ever.

Let Regularcat work his magic. The potential is HUGE.

This is first video showing similar rated teams. I will be making some more ;).

(there was funny one, when I put Man Utd vs Tranmere and Tranmere was winning 0-2 at Old Trafford, but that was me messing up).

EDIT:

just noticed, that video has got dropped frames and looks bad in a lot of areas. Guess my video renderer fecked up. Next vids will be much better. Never happened before... -.-

We will get back on subject when you publish product.ini and excited crowd will enjoy their placebo. Just don't put too much bloat in it, put only what works.

could just be you are using code no longer being used by the game.
75% of last years code is gone & is no longer in my file.

my file is very very limited, thats all ill say.

all you have to do is use the hex editor.

every year a new game comes out & i immediately attack the exe because i have learned over the years editing gameplay some new comes & some old goes & sometimes some old stays.

sometimes code will stay but have a completely different effect on something then it did the year before.

i know code works, before my system went down i tested a few lines individually to make sure i wasnt seeing things or a placebo like you said.

the only time you see code in my file that doesnt work is when i put it there on purpose which i do do, just to see whos using what & what values.

just keep in mind the only code i have ever had function for me in an ini file was all uppercase characters, i know there has been debate on upper/lowercase code working
but lowercase never works for me.

any ini or config file i have looked into for any software or system config has only used uppercase characters.
you being a coder im sure could shed some light on that.

Ok. Then may be share just 1-2 keys (new from exe) that you believe affect gameplay in some significant noticeable way. I will test and try with range of value and will possibly get back with my test results. If it works indeed I will admit it if it does not I am disappointed. You sound intriguing as if you found something, which makes me want to get into endless experimenting (again), but at the same time I feel I will probably waste my time.

i wish i found something extraordinary but unfortunately i did not.
which is why i had no choice but to edit the database once again, i can live w/ it if it makes the game play better than this arcade constant counter attack ea gave us in 13.

i dont want to fill up my thread w/ real/placebo, etc, stick to pms.

editing the db and the product.ini is the best way to make a better GP. Editing just the product.ini makes the same changes to all the teams. The problem is that it takes time and patience to edit all of that
