No, I don't want you to increase IA's tackle but the user's one. That's the point, once I lost the ball, I really have trouble to get it back...

you have to learn how to get into proper position to take the ball off the possessor, i made this so you cant play like its pes, you cant just chase the man
& keep trying to tackle him, you have to wait for the right time to take the ball.

if you refuse to play in a realistic manner, lower the difficulty level.

ive seen it happen to me, you have to pay close attention to whats going on in the game, watch the momentum & see who has the momentum & change your tactics as you go.

if you see they are starting to dominate then ease off the ultra attacking & team pressing & switch to defensive & look for the counter, etc.

the cpu now studies your tactics & changes theirs based on what you do, you do the same thing all match & you have no chance.

Speed slider + Accel slider + plus your thumb and the D-pad = whatever speed you prefer. Honestly, do people even realize the game has sliders this year? LOL.

Well it's a suggestion only. Change the sliders if the game's too slow for you. I switched from rc's gameplay mod + database edits, to just his gameplay mod. The database edits were too extreme for my tastes, I so went back to my own edits but kept his fabulous gameplay mod installed. Really, why would you ask someone to create a whole new file, when all it takes is five seconds to tweak two sliders?

Bangus is of course correct. Just tweak yourself if you have an issue with speed etc., I upped the passing speed a little as it is the way I like it.

what didnt you like about the db portion of the gameplay ?

w/o the db you lose a lot of the gameplay.

just tweak the sliders to how you like it, i will not create a patch for everyone individually nor will i explain how to increase/decrease things in the file.

RC - I just downloaded an "origin" update and the game is hanging just after the intro screen. Was wondering if there was a conflict between the update and your patch? Could you tell me what files to delete to remove your patch and I'll see if I can get it working again......obviously I'll then try to reinstall your patch again because the game plays much better with your work. Cheers.

**edit, scrub that I'm gonna delete the "initialise" file again and see if that works........

Just my own preference... The big thing is I lowered Agility ratings by as much as 90% for many of the players. The animations are smoother which is something I usually end up trying to fix with most sports games. But with FIFA 12, it also helps nullify the CPU psychic ninja dribbling, which I find completely unrealistic and particularly annoying.

But I won't play FIFA 12 now without your gameplay mod, it really is super. Thanks again for all your hard work and for making it available to the community.

its the update causing it, lots of people are complaining at the ea forums about the updates to origin & fifa for that half ass euro patch they are ripping people off of for 25$.

only way to uninstall the update is to have a complete backup of the game prior to the updates.

Thank God I do. I'll just sort that and make sure NOT to update!! I got the DLC for my 360 - it's an overpriced and poor DLC. I knew that prior to downloading but I always think I'm missing something so got it anyway!!

Not slugs, just realistic. Regardless, it's still more realistic than the psychic hyper-dribbling most players are capable of. FIFA 12's default dribbling doesn't resemble anything human beings could ever pull off. Androids maybe, but not human beings. Plus when EA's infamous god-mode programming kicks in, every CPU player suddenly looks and plays like he's rated 150 Agility, regardless of his particular rating. So it all evens out in the end, lol.

Up the pass speed to about 45/50 and increase the sprint and acceleration speed by an additional 5/10 also. Just try a few and see what you think.
