Regularcat's FIFA 11 Mods

I must have to admit : this gameplay - product.ini - has been the best ever experienced by me so far. I had the privilege of testing many versions, some were good over others in some aspects but worse in some other. This version does not have those laser shots, neither does it have super powerful defence where scoring is a real challenge due to David vs Goliath fight. But this gameplay has got total freedom, you can play freely and you feel that this is REAL football where mispasses are quite a common place, defenders jumping and making a false head (they are missing the ball !!!) are not rare, your co-attackers will move freely (their off-the-ball runs are superb). All in all, superb. If only you could fix that stupid substitute problem.

If I use the gameplay database, the gameplay becomes slower and more realistic, but that freedom factor is diminished somewhat (not that the slow pace robs that factor entirely, but it is a known fact to achieve slow pace you have to sacrifice freedom).

@Other gameplay makers:

I am not disrespecting you or your works, in fact you all have made your gameplay reach a zenith by slow but sure evolution. Wish EA had done the same or learnt a little from you all.

definitely the best ai for fifa 11.completely agree with arka.except the substitution bug problem, evrything is simply too good. now the gameplay is as real as it could be.ai errors are quite common like humans and that is what makes the gp so much more enjoyable. exciting games are now a reality. great work bro.the ai is amazing

im working on the sub bug fix, arka did you do what i told you to do in the product to see if it fixed the sub issue ?

i just hope the freedom hasnt killed the difficulty at all.

For me the freedom hasn't killed the dificulty. It's still very hard, but like in real football you never know what's gonna happen, so you always have a chance of winning. The opponent can play brilliant one game, and can be out of form the other; though it's always very, very hard. Look away for 5 sec and you've got a problem, you know what I mean?

Congrats man, you reached a whole new level of gameplay in football simulation games.

Actually I love that it "killed" the difficulty a bit. I was sick of always having the feeling the AI is cheating like crazy on higher difficulty modes while lower/medium difficulty would just be too easy. Great job man.

'm a beginner but I can say that your patch is one of the best! duced have a much more transfers in order manager! your patch makes actual transfers? eg> put a player played for sale # 63 # and then Barcelona is in interesa buy them! rudicula this situation! regularcat then your patch fixes this bug?

thanks, & editing the way the cpu does transfers is no easy thing to do, i have tried again & again.

I had seen those 2 links on the CEP 11 first page before I posted but they had been and they are still inactive. Is there any other working source with your actual patches (optimized for CEP 11)? Will you restore links available from your account?

I managed to fix the subs "issue", and now I play the most realistic games ever, no more players running like crazy, now you should messure your efforts.

sj, RC has already fixed that sub issue and may release a version later with some other tweaks. In fact he is working on some more factors.

hey mate,

it's a bit off topic here, but can u jump in CONCACAF's superleague mod for CEP and make a few kits? u started it and then i joined but i'm kind of alone right now doing it and if u can help it will be fast as (for what i know) u and Vajo worked the db and it is just waiting for graphics to be released...

plus, all people is starting to use CEP now and as soon as CONCACAF is added to their patches sooner it will be possible to start careers incl. a full world experience as this confed. was missing on the Super mix side of things...
