wonderful mate, its fantastic. EA are a bunch of lazy ***s to be honest. Its a DISGRACE honestly they should be ashamed, i'm very thankful for everyone on here making the game look and perform better with mods and patches and so on.

regularcat can you help me with editing the ai file please?

How can i change the way the ball is passed, it does seem like a magnet lol.
What about the random handballs how do i change that?
Is it the higher the parameter the less chance?
Manu's wingers changeing sides aswell, how do i make that less.
See the player ids used in the midfeild runs, theres only alonso and gerrard, can you put anyone in there??
Also it seems harder to head the ball when defending or in general, how can i up that a bit.

I dont know about wether there is a bug in the through balls system and it being EA's fault. But when you play a through ball some times the intended receiver wont move faster and therfor you loose out on the through ball, its like he isnt going to get the ball. Is this an EA fault. Anyone else realise this?

Whats the deal with the speeds of the goalies kicks and throws, what way does that work?

Does the no second yellow mean ou cant get a second yellow card??

by ball velocity, rotation, back spin, resistance, if you increase or decrease the value too much the game will crash.

random handballs, the lower the less chance.

you cant do anything about mu's wingers, its either on or off.

liverpools midfield runs, you can add who you want, but eventually the game crashes.
same with ibra's through ball from deep.

i made it harder to head the ball, because its too easy to score w/ headers.
i went for realistic, in fifa they never err when they head the ball.

through ball bug, no its called stamina the ball moves at the pace you kick it,
if you notice that only happens later in the 2nd half.

gk kick & throw speed, i increased them just for more opportunities for counter attacks,
for both human & cpu.

no 2nd yellow, its exactly what you thought.

no hassle, only thing i dont understand is why people feel the passing isnt any good.
i think it super realistic, 10 yard passes dont bounce, 25 yard passes do.

i think the ball physics are dead on.

V3 of the patch is a huge improvement in gameplay with the ball gravity and weight in particular as near as dammit perfect. It is really hard to create scoring opportunities though (the way it should be) Great work.

just tried your gameplay regularcat CPU is much much more authentic now, great work! But I guess that does make their attacks a little bit less scary. I can now cut off their progression pretty easily due to their slow build up. Maybe that's just me

which version ?

also certain teams have a slow build attribute to them.
its part of team styles & special ai.

USE THIS PATCH WITH WARNING!!!!

I installed this patch - it did not work and I have been unable to play the game for 2 days.

I saved the Data file as instructed and when the game crashed the first time, copied it back in. It crashed again!

I reinstalled the game three!!!! times and still it would not run.

Even got in touch with EA who had no solution for now - stating that it was a registry issue.

I even deleted the Fifa 2010 registry keys but still nothing.

If someone can help me rid the evidence of this killer patch I would truly appreciate it!!!

Pissed off and sadly cant play!!!!

Please help!!!

I also think the same as Duong... but u have to be more aware.. if u give 'em a bit of space , they'll score easily. no mean to disrespect man, but i think there are still things to improve... but i like it the way it is (: !

hey D**KHEAD, before you come up in my thread talking S**T, try asking for
help 1st.

verify which version you downloaded, all you need to do is copy & paste it
in the fifa 10 main directory.

all my gameplays have been downloaded over 500x as of now, & no one else is complaining, talking s**t in my thread.

you have 33 posts & obviously new to modding fifa, learn what you are doing first before you do something stupid & blame me.

if you downloaded v.1 it says to import it into the bigger config.dat, the 1 in the main directory, not in the data/system folder. & it clearly says so.

whatever you did was a mistake you made, not my patch.

next time ask for help.

& i highly doubt you removed registry keys from the registry, if you cant even read a simple read me file & do what it says correctly, so im a help
you out a little bit.

go find you a copy of your uninstaller 08 & install it.

delete the fifa 10 folder from your hdd & your fifa 10 folder from my documents, then use your uninstaller to uninstall fifa 10.

then run a registry cleaner & restart your pc, then reinstall fifa 10.

viola, your issue is fixed.

you didnt knock me off anything, its got nothing to do w/ ego.

its the fact you come to my thread saying this & that, not knowing what you are doing, & its obvious you dont.

by the way my ego could fit in a pinhole, thats how big it is.

& im no diplomat so you get a response based off of the way you approach things, simply watching your tone would have done wonders for you.

I have a suggestion for the gameplay, is there a way to make the goalkeeper saves a bit more realistic and creative? All I see are the same moves everytime when the goalkeepers try to save a ball in the game, I want to see some more creativity in them, if it is possible

Yea the goalkeeper saves are boring. You know EA are a pain in the ass for even creating sad silly animations that the players on fifa 10.

Regularcat, your patch is good, ive downloaded installed last week, its def made a difference to the game, i think you should release v4, but change the way the ball sticks to the ground when you pass.

Overall its a brilliant patch, just couple of wee things need tuning.

Installation

1.open file master 10
2.locate zdata35 & import
3.regenerate fat & bh files
4.go play FIFA 10

is the zdata35 file the same as the setplays.big file in the patch download? Is that what you import??
