Regens appear after a player is retired. The regen is an exact copy of the player who retired (and where he's the regen from) Only his name will be different. So basically regens have the same potential, nationality, position etc.

The stats of the regen will at the start will not be the same as the stats of the retired player. This is because the regen still has to increase his ability. If the regen has the same current ability as the retired player they will look (almost) similar.

Cool, so after a player reitres i sould just look for the same postiona as that person and Nationality:confused:

Like if Zidane retiared, i look for French AMC etc. right.

yup. I wont be hard to find a player like Zidane. Just keep his potential and after he retires search for a new player with this potential and Zidanes nationality and position

Paulo Da Silva

Starting XI
will the regen still be playing for the same team!?!Like suppose Zidane retired as a real madrid player, would his regen be in Real aswell

The only difference is that the player is also random for skills. So whereas Roy Keane would have 20 for things like Determination, Work Rate & Influence, his regen could have 8 for Work Rate and be a completly different type of defence midfielder, so it doesn't mean they will be as good.

They also don't always regenerate as a very young player, I brought Neville Southall at the end of his last season hoping that he would retire at my club and be regenerated at my club (Barcelona) so that I would have a superb keeper too build up. He retired the day he signed, then his Regen turned up at Newcastle aged 23.
