Do any of you guys know the difference between the referees? Is one stricter than the other or what? In the good old KickOff2 days there was a ref called Screech (damn that guy could ruin the game) ...

Ontopic:

I think there is a differnce between the Refs. Sometimes I got one who gives a yellow for every tackle and sometimes I got a good one. In the demo (wich I play) refs looks always the same. I hope that wont be the case in the full version.

To take it off topic a keeper can get a red card. Again a big difference from FIFA, where I actually managed to get ayellow, but gues what it was erased from any record by the end of the game.
About the referees, I think that they look different, but I haven't really seen any other difference.

The refs look different in the PS2 version. Sometimes I think I notice a difference in their style. I agree with Torrie425 that there are good refs and bad refs in the game... I just dont know if it depends on the ref chosen in the menu or if it is just random... like Coolina is having a bad day...

I think the refs in the game are giving way too many freekicks. Even when I slide down in front of a running player and knock the ball away it will often result in a freekick...
